About Mrs. Luddy

Hello!  My name is Trish Luddy and I am a teacher at Rock Springs Elementary. I have been teaching for 21 years, 14 of which have been at Rock Springs Elementary. My teaching experiences have included 1st through 4th grades.  I am very technology savvy (I am in charge of the website and social media for Rock Springs) and love using technology with all of my students.  I graduated from the University of South Florida with an Elementary Education Degree in 1997.  Growing up I knew that working with children was my passion and being a teacher has helped me to achieve that dream.  I am married and have 2 children, Jenna and Christian. (Jenna is a junior in high school and Christian is in 7th grade)  At home we also have a Mini Australian Shepherd named Star, 2 bearded dragons (Zilla and Citrus), a blue tongued skink named Pineapple, 3 leopard geckos with several babies and 7 crested geckos with babies. (My daughter has gotten in to breeding leopard geckos and crested geckos as a hobby.) We are a very busy family due to my son playing baseball and my daughter playing softball. Growing up I actually played basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer and ran track.  Basketball and softball were my favorites though.  I played softball through my freshman year of high school and then played basketball through my junior year of high school. Now you know a little bit about me. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you this year!
