Classdojo – If you have not registered on this site please ask your child’s homeroom teacher for the code. We keep track of each child’s behavior using this tool as well as communicate notes home to the parents. We are excited to use this program to help keep the lines of communication between home and school open. www.classdojo.com
iReady – This program can be accessed through Launchpad. We use this program as a way of heping fill in the gaps in a student’s learning. They take a diagnostic test 3 times a year to find where students are in reading and math. The program then assigns lessons based on what each student needs. According to the program, just 45 minutes a week can help students make 1 year’s growth academically. If you would like your child to get ahead, or catch up, this program is available for extra practice.
OCPS Launchpad- This website is the one stop shopping website for all things curriculum in OCPS. Your child can log in and then see all of their apps. By clicking on the “Digital Texbooks” icon in Launch you will have access to all of their textbooks. Students will be taking several of their tests online this year and can be viewed by having your students check their score report once in HMH Thinkcentral. Their username is their student ID# and the password is their birthday (YYYYMMDD). launch.ocps.net
Renaissance Learning – This is where you can find information about Accelerated Reader and Star Tests your child has taken. Renaissance can be reached in Launch by going to the Library Research Tools.
