We successfully recorded and submitted our Candlelight DVD and application last week. Now, we wait for the results! The three possibilities are A) we are not accepted B) we are invited to participate on one specific date or C) we are invited to participate on 4 nights as an honor choir. I expect to hear results sometime next week– early October. We had a very good audition, so I’m confident we will be accepted and we will proceed under that assumption.
All interested students should proceed as if they are participating in the Candlelight Processional and begin learning the music. Once we’ve heard from Disney, we’ll clarify exactly who is participating.
Motivation… Check days!
Students who wish to participate in Candlelight are required to demonstrate that they have learned the assigned songs for the week. For example, this Friday students must all perform “Rejoice with Exceeding Great Joy”. It must be learned, but memorization isn’t required at this point.
- Students who fail 2 separate check days will not participate in the Candlelight Processional
Practice, practice, practice!
Students are expected to practice on their own!!! They have been offered practice CDs in class, or they can use the audio tracks found on the Candlelight Practice page
