The Eagle Mascot

With a new mascot costume, the search is on for the right person to fill the position. This year the school needs a good mascot, a mascot that can get everyone excited with school spirit. Hopefully something full of red and white.

“I hope that our mascot will bring the spirit that our school needs,” said sophomore Megan Bosque. “I think it’s a good idea for us to have something a little different than the other schools mascots.”

A lot of students feel that the school doesn’t have much spirit right now.

“Our school doesn’t exactly have spirit and it lacks it a lot especially at games when the crowd isn’t loud, we could use a mascot that was loud and full of spirit,” said sophomore Valentina Pintos Fan. “The whole point of the mascot is to bring spirit to the school.”

Without a good mascot the school won’t be able to have spirit and pride.

“This school has been so dull for so long and I hope this year is a new year filled with spirit,” said junior Nathan Shields.
