Where are you from?
I was born in Romania and I came here when I was young.
Where did you go to college?
UCF.
How did you get into teaching?
I love taking a difficult concept and making it easier to understand. I like the creativity and different strategies, and building positive relationships with the kids.
Why do you like teaching math?
I’m math minded; it wasn’t my best subject in school but it made the most sense.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love running, hiking in the mountains with my husband and kayaking. I love art: drawing, painting, calligraphy, crafts.
What’s something interesting about you?
I’m an artist, I can play the guitar and I can speak Romanian.
What’s your favorite TV show?
Downton Abbey, I’m so excited for the movie.

Dunkin’.
What’s your favorite restaurant?
Tijuana Flats.
Do you have any pets?
Two cats that I absolutely love.
What are you most excited about for this school year?
I’m excited about the culture of it and all that it includes. I’m also excited to see former students from Conway, and just seeing them be knowledgeable and to know that I was a part of that.
What’s the coolest place you’ve traveled?
Capri, Italy was my favorite place.
