A PSA ABOUT GRADES

  1. If you have a C, D, F in a class – do something different.
  2. More than one F? You REALLY need to adjust your approach to your schoolwork.
  3. ALL BOrc grades should be 90 or higher.

(I’m tough in expectations – but I don’t grade harshly)

  1. There are more students with F’s in 5th & 6th periods than I saw in the entire band program 5 years ago.

Band Grades

Periods 2 & 3

  1. SIX BK due by 12/8 and EIGHT BK due by 12/20
  2. Concert Letter due by 12/10
  3. Class participation
  4. Pencil Checks
  5. Show up for the concert!!!

Periods 5 & 6

  1. Bonus Band Karate Due by 12/20
  2. Concert Letter due by 12/10
  3. Class participation
  4. Pencil Checks
  5. Show up for the concert!!!

Jazz Band & Orchestra Grades

  1. Skill Checks on 12/15 and 12/19
  2. Concert Letter due by 12/10
  3. Class participation
