After the final bell on Tuesday, Sept. 7, a hoard of students invaded Room 13-215. Those in attendance sought Meg Ramis’ help not in math but, rather they looked to bake. With over 80 people in attendance fonder Sydney Geren began the first Baking Braves meeting.
“[When I saw all of the people I was] excited, exhilarated and nervous about talking to all of those people. I was just happy because others shared the passion to care for the community,” Geren said.
Baking Braves plans to help the community by volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, the Russell Home for Atypical Children and by baking cakes for orphans on their birthdays and dropping the cakes of at the orphanages.
