I’m a great dancer; [dancing] from the 90’s like break dancing. I grew up in the 80s. Back then it was Run DMC, L.L. Cool J., Big Daddy Kane; that was the music I was listening to so I wanted to do what everyone else did.
When you were in high school what clique did you fall into? Would that be the same today?
I was a jock. I played football, ran track, and played basketball. No, today I’d be in the intelligent geeks group, the brighter part of the school.

Do you have an interesting hobby or talent? How did you start?
I like scrapbooking, taking pictures, traveling. [I have been doing this] the last two to three years while traveling as a way to put photographs together to tell a story.

The artsy, crafty group. I thought I would go to college and major in art which I did initially then [I majored in] journalism.

Climbing the pyramids, all the pyramids in South America and Egypt and Stonehenge. Seeing all the ancient sights. Just the history of the world and humanities interests me. It shows why we do things.

Scooby Doo, He’s just cool. He solves the mystery. Everybody loves Scooby.

Prior to his career in education he worked in aviation management, the insurance industry and as a youth pastor, which is where he discovered how much he loved working with high school students.
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I absolutely love aviation, shooting pool and military/ war movies (especially World War 20.)
What was one of the craziest things you did in high school?
Sometimes a group of friends and I would get together and randomly sing to an unsuspecting female friend, “You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling”. It probably got old after a while but sometimes we would sing in some public place and really catch someone off guard. (In case it isn’t obvious, we got the idea from a movie.)
