With pancakes flying, a costumed Santa and the senior class present, the traditional senior breakfast was a success on Nov. 30.
“The breakfast is a nice gathering for seniors during the holiday season, and it makes them feel important because it is just for them,” senior class president Taylor Dudley said.
Tickets for the breakfast were sold before Thanksgiving break, and included an effort to collect cans for the Student Government Association’s annual canned food drive. Surprisingly, none of the money raised by the tickets generates a profit for the senior class. All of the proceeds go towards the food and payment for Jeff Krause’s services as the “pancake man.” Despite the lack of profit, Dudley still feels the event was a success.
“The breakfast was a success because we had the majority of the senior class there, and everyone enjoyed themselves,” Dudley said.
