After starting out scoring four runs in the first inning and continuing to score, the Lady Braves softball team won 7-2 in their game against East River on Feb. 28.

In the bottom of the first inning the bases were loaded. Senior Sarah Hayes and  junior Samantha O’Born scored runs. Ending the first inning 4-1.

The girls made three more runs and by the third inning the Braves were still in the lead 7-2.  Both Hayes and Glalvis made catches in the fourth inning which kept East River from scoring.

At the start of the fifth inning East River scored a run and for the rest of the inning along with the six and seventh, the score remained the same.

The Lady Braves defeated East River, 7-2.
