Playing the Timber Creek Wolves, the boys’ tennis team suffered their second loss of the season on Feb. 27.  The team’s final score was 2-5.

The match opened with two games, played by junior Davis Coleman and senior Remy Artavia. Both lost, with scores of 3-8 and 0-8, respectively. Coleman and Artavia played again in a doubles match where they lost 5-8.

Junior Ronald Heinkel played two games, first a single, where he beat his opponent 9-7, and later a doubles match, where he teamed up with sophomore Ryan Willis. The duo lost the doubles match 2-8.

Freshman Nathan Fontaine also played that night, losing 7-9. The boys’ second win came from singles player sophomore Thomas McDonald, who won 8-0.

The next match is against Freedom on March 4.
