On March 6, the weightlifting team challenged Colonial and East River.
Junior Anthony Santana and sophomore Dion Ross both achieved personal bests, benching 215 pounds and lifting 260 pounds on the clean and jerk, and 180 pounds on the clean and jerk respectively.
Boone lost both matches; against Colonial, 33-49 and to East River, 39-49.
The boys will be going to the Metro Conference in Ocoee on March 13.
