Being a valedictorian, senior Jessica Lee demonstrates her school involvement with being the secretary of Key Club and through her extra curricular activities, such as Math Club, Spanish Club, National, Spanish Honor Society and Student Government Association.

Lee has maintained 5.0 weighted grade point average and 4.0 unweighted grade point average all four years.

“[My biggest motivator during high school to maintain my grades was] the fact that I wanted to be Valedictorian and I wanted to do my best in school. I wanted to do well so I could take less classes in college,” Lee said.

Even though she is a valedictorian, Lee procrastinates on doing her homework and struggles to set priorities.

“You don’t know what real senioritis is until there is one month of school left,” Lee said.

Lee plans to attend the University of Florida and major in pre-pharmacy.
