After finding the balance between schoolwork and fun, senior Stephanie Roman Caban has managed to successfully maintain a weighted 4.8 grade point average and an unweighted 4.0 grade point average.

“My biggest motivator has been knowing the satisfaction that comes with maintaining [my grades],” Caban said.

Caban is a member of Social Justice, Key Club, French Club, National Honor Society, Math Club, Mu Alpha Theta and French Honor Society.

Yet, among her achievements, Caban ranks surviving her freshman year as on of her top achievements.

“Choose wisely between procrastination and sleep. [Keeping my 4.0] was a challenge that I wanted to accomplish,” Caban said.

Caban plans on attending the University of Central Florida for her first two years and then transferring to either the University of Florida or University of South Florida.
