Get out your calendars because the Reservation Run 5K is Feb. 15, starting at 7:30 a.m. for competitive runners and 7:35 a.m. for those participating for fun. The annual fun, festive 5 kilometer run is in its sixth year of existence on campus. All proceeds will benefit students, clubs, athletes and campus facilities.

Junior Nicholas Reynolds enjoyed last year’s Reservation Run 5K.

“[I like] the fact that I get to do what I love [running] while helping the community,” Reynolds said.

To run one must register online or mail the completed entry form to: BHSAA, 1000 E. Kaley St., Orlando, FL 32806. Make all checks payable to: BHSAA. They will also accept on site registration.

The first 700 paid entrants will receive a 2014 Reservation Run 5K T-shirt. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed and will be first come, first serve at packet pickup.

The event is an opportunity for both competitive runners and those participating for fun. Competitive student runners who want to be chip timed are $20, and a chip timed adult (over age 20) is $25.
