“It’s my second year on campus, but my first year as a teacher. I was an intern last year for Mr. Hortze and Mrs. Montgomery.”
What subject do you teach now?
“I teach Senior Seminar. It is designed to help students finish their senior year and transition into the real world.”
Why do you teach Senior Seminar?
“Mr. Johns had the idea to start this program, and to use me because I’m young and can create good rapports with the kids and share my own experiences with them.”
Where did you go to college?
“I went to the University of Central Florida. I studied Social Science Education.”
Were you a Boone student in high school?
“I went to Boone my freshman year.”
