The boys volleyball team outlasted a prolonged defeat against the Timber Creek Wolves on Tuesday.
The boys started out with a long defensive game in the first set. Sophomore Cole Hutto and juniors Jackson Partlow and Paul Jacquet scored the majority of the points in the first set, but the Braves lost 20-25.
To start the second set, junior Douglas Page scored the first point. The team was ahead of the Wolves throughout the set until the last few minutes when the Wolves made a comeback. The Braves lost again, 22-25.
After their second defeat, the Braves start out the third set. The Wolves quickly grabbed a lead, 0-5. The Braves scored minimal points while the Wolves reached 25 points fast. The Braves lost the third set, 17-25, resulting in an overall loss of the game.
The team will play at University tonight at 7 p.m.
