The boys lacrosse team played Lake Highland on March 19. While the teams were tied at one point in the game, Lake Highland won 19-5.

At the start of the boys lacrosse game, Lake Highland scored the first goal, but the Braves bounced back when senior Mark Bruno scooped up the ground ball and took it to the goal.

As the game continued, Lake Highland scored again leading by one point. Freshman Campbell Griffin scored shortly after, and senior Jack Reddeck followed his lead by adding another goal to the score. The Braves were in the lead 3-2, until a Highlander scored again, keeping them up by one point. Halfway through the second quarter, senior Cole Dalton made a save and the team transitioned the ball down the field to senior Jaiden Corrente-Carret who made a goal, tying the game 4-4.

Reddeck got injured in the second quarter. With a main attacker out for the rest of the game, the Braves started trailing behind and Lake Highland continued to score. At the end of the first half, Lake Highland was in the lead 9-4. The second half started with Lake Highland adding more goals to the score, leading 13-4.

With 54 seconds left in the third quarter, junior Aaron Bullock got the ball and ran it down the field right to the goal giving the Braves another point. After a tough match, Lake Highland beat the boys 19-5.

The Braves will play Colonial High School today at 6 p.m. on The Reservation.
