On Wednesday, the boys swim team fell short against Timber Creek, 78-98.

They started strong with sophomore Travis Stuart  placing first in the 200-freestyle (1:54:35) followed by junior Alexander Glenn  (2:01:50.)

After coming in fourth, fifth and sixth in the 200-individual medley, sophomore Samuel Gentry-Mickelson placed first in the 50-freestyle (24:19.)

Sophomore Ryan Bogdan fought hard in the 100-freestyle, but took second place (55:65).  Junior Christian Assal placed fourth (1:01:31) and junior Cody Maitland came in a close fifth after Assal (1:04:64.)

Stuart also dominated in the 100-backstroke (58:57). Bogdan followed, placing fourth (1:04:68), and Andy Hoogvorst came in fifth (1:13:99.)

Junior Reed Bryan placed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:12:90) and junior Austin Luyster (1:15:68) quickly followed.

Finishing the meet, the 400- freestyle relay team consisting of Stuart, Glenn, Bogdan, and junior Adrian Miranda finished second (3:52:35.)

The team will take on Winter Park at Winter Park on Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
