1st Grade

In 1st grade we continue working on our quarter notes, quarter rests and pairs of eighth notes.  We work more on making them into patterns and using them with each other.  We work a lot more on categorizing our instruments and using more melodic instruments (Barred Instruments.)  We also learn one new solfege syllable called LA and add it to the ones we already know, SO and MI!
