5th grade

In 5th grade we continue with the recorder and begin exploring HARMONY, which is when a combination of notes is played at the same time to produce a CHORD.    We will produce harmony in the classroom with our classroom instruments and our voices with CANON.  CANON is when 2 or more groups sing the same song, but at different times.  We also learn our last solfege syllable TI to complete the solfege scale and in the future be able to use our solfege syllables to help us learn music and write music.
