Kindergarten

In Kindergarten we focus mainly on steady beat and our differences between high notes and low notes.  We use the solfege ladder and begin by learning the solfege syllables SO (high note) and MI (low note).  We focus on 5 different instrument families and classifying instruments into those families.  They include, Metal, Shaker, Membrane and Wood.  We also learn to hear the differences between pieces of music.
