* You will create an interactive timeline in pairs *
- Based on what you’ve learned about the War of the Rebellion and Reconstruction, you will create a timeline demonstrating your knowledge of key events during the “Civil War” and the subsequent Reconstruction years.
- For each of the events, you must determine the month and year in which it occurred (or began); your timeline must be in the correct chronological order.
- Causes of the War & Reconstruction must be identified with one color, while consequences must be identified with a different color; you must include a key to indicate the colors you chose to use.
- For each event you must determine which of three categories it belongs in.
- If it is a social cause or consequence label the event with (S).
- If it is a political cause or consequence label the event with (P).
- If it is an economic cause or consequence label the event with (E).
- For each event, you must give a brief explanation (2-3 sentences) of what happened and how it was a cause or consequence of either the War of the Rebellion or Reconstruction; i.e. why was it important?
