The Moon Landing

Introduction

After more than a decade of preparation, Astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first person to step foot on the moon on June 20th, 1969. Almost immediately, some put forth the theory that the moon landing was a hoax by the U.S. Government in order to assert its victory in the space race over the Soviet Union.

Unfortunately, this is something which has grown in popularity over time; recent polls indicate that approximately 20% of Americans believe that the U.S. has never landed on the moon.

Task

You will watch an episode of Mythbusters, entitled NASA Moon Landing.

While you are observing the content (at your own pace), you will answer several questions about the possible hoax.

Process

You will answer each question by searching from a metasearch such as Dogpile or Unabot, or a search engine/directory such as Google or Bing. Be sure to answer each in Google Classroom, in complete sentences.
