Book Reports

Beginning this month students will no longer be required to compete  in the 40 Book Challenge, it will be an option for extra credit.  They ARE, however, expected to continue reading 30 minutes each night.  If the student wants to continue with the 40 Book Challenge, the reward is still a movie party for those who get to 40 books during the year.  The requirements have not changed, they still need to submit either a Whooosreading response (and pass), or a written response as was shared with them at the beginning of the year.

Book Report Requirements

Students are required to complete a book report each month, using the guidelines given to them for the project they select. A different book genre and project type must be submitted each month.     Students must submit a project and a Book Report Form.  The assignment is to be turned in in on the last school day each month, except for May.

The due dates are as follows:  January 31, February 28, March 30, April 30

All projects should have color, and may not have any tape showing.  Use double sided tape if tape must be used.

Below are a few examples.  These examples do not have color, but color should be used when making the projects.
