Those interested in saving three lives per donation can register to participate in the next blood drive set for February 7. Participants must be 16-years-old, bring a photo ID and permission slip, eat well one to two hours before donating, weigh at least 102 pounds and be free from cold and flu symptoms.

At the years first drive, Sept. 13, 125 volunteers came to donate blood. They collected 88 pints, making this year a success over last year’s 103 volunteers and 62 pints.

The most recent blood drive on Monday, Nov. 8, had 122 volunteers who gave 124 pints of blood. Senior class council organized the events. To register for the February drive see a class officer or Sarah Kittrell in Room 220.
