Senior WIlliam MacKenzie signed his college scholarship with Ave Marie University located in Naples, Florida. MacKenzie played the freshman, junior varsity and two years of varsity football and also is on the varsity track team this season. MacKenzie will play offensive lineman for the Gyrenes and will join former teammates Nathan Wills and Al Graham.
Former Penn State player Barry Fagan will coach the Gyrenes in their first ever football season. They are in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and are part of the Sun Conference.
