A popular spot for students and dog walkers, 903 Mills Market is more than the typical neighborhood place to grab a bite to eat. This hidden treasure offers satisfying specialty meals at decent prices with an outdoor patio perfect for enjoying the weather and people watching.
Inside walls are lined with posters, neighborhood bulletins, an extensive menu and drinks in fridges, shelves and fountain form. Located less a block from Lake Davis, it has a small community feel and is a great location for students. Order inside at the register and take a seat outside to wait for your meal, or order to go and have a seat on the benches while your order is quickly prepared.
Extremely casual, 903 Mills Market services everyone from friends meeting for brunch, to those grabbing a quick bite while walking their dog. While there is parking, it is mostly on the street which is why the cafe is more popular with walkers.
Every drink one could desire from fountain iced tea to popular bottled drinks are available. For those over 21, 903 Mills Markets has a gourmet beer and wine deli as well.
Sandwiches and wraps are largely portioned at great prices ranging from $4.59 – $7.99. The Thai Chicken Wrap ($6.89) is warm, crunchy and tasty, although not spicy. Sandwiches are also uniquely packed with flavor, such as the California Club ($6.89).
Appetizers are good with meals but can stand alone. The addicting 903 Corn and Bean Salsa ($3.99), served with chips, and Legendary Olive Tapenade ($4.99), served with pita chips, are great to share.
903 Mills Market is also vegetarian friendly, marking vegetarian items on the menu.
