For her first concert special in eight years, pop star Britney Spears gives her fans exactly what they want: a full show. Spears’ concert special Britney Spears Live: the Femme Fatale Tour shows the entire concert from beginning to end in high definition.
Contrary to prior concerts from people like Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus who only give segments of the show along with behind the scenes extras, Spears gives the whole show from beginning to end.
The special is not only in HD quality, but also provides the interludes when Spears is not on stage. The show gives fans up close and far away views of Spears, her stage and her dancers. The show is a spectacle of pyrotechnics, constantly changing outfits and a massive amount of Britney doing what she does best: hiking up her sex appeal.
The audio for the special is breath taking, however, slightly disappointing. The audio mixer added in primarily studio versions rather than the live vocals Spears’ performs. There are a select few locations in the show where the live vocals are mixed in, but it does not match up to Spears’ vocals in the live show.
The audio does not bring down the excellence of the show and HD quality. This concert special is definitely worth one’s time as it shows the power that is the legendary Britney Spears.
The concert is 85 minutes and will be available on Blu–Ray, DVD and iTunes for $10.99 to $18.49 on November 21.
