For those who love pies, cakes, brownies and other deserts, Sister Honey’s is a local bakery that satisfies any of one’s cravings. Open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sister Honey’s is a casual place to get desserts to go.
Cupcakes are $2.49 each, six for $12.99 or a dozen for $24.99. Pies serve up to eight people and cakes serves 10 people or more. For chocolate lovers, double chocolate cupcakes are rich and flavorful. They definitely satisfy one’s sweet tooth in a perfect sized proportion.
For one looking for something sweet, Neapolitan pound cake is an option. It contains swirls of chocolate, stawberry and vanilla and has a chocolate glaze on top. This cake tastes similar to ice cream.
For one wanting something simple, yet rich, individual brownies are $2.25. The brownies have good texture and taste like fudge. They contain walnuts which make them soft yet crunchy at the same time.
Sister Honey’s specializes in different types of cakes. One can buy it by the slice ($3.99) or a whole one ($35.99).
Their cakes include cheesecake, key lime pie, carrot cake, and layered cakes. Layered cakes can be specially ordered by calling 407-307-7315 or by going in the store.
In addition, they have cold pies such as Chocolate cream pie,and baked pies including apple pies and pecan pies. There are also pastries and pound cakes. Although there isn’t room to eat there, the quality of desserts make up for it. There are so many options available, Sister Honey’s is sure to satisfy even the pickiest costumer’s taste.
The most popular choice among costumers is the key lime pie. The first bite of the cheese cake like dessert provides the perfect mixture of both sweet and tart along with the sweet graham cracker crust. Fresh fruit and a dollop of whipped cream creates a desert no one can resist.
Although the prices may seem a bit steep for dessert, after tasting one of their desserts guests can tell the bakery uses fresh and whole ingredients enticing the costumer to spend a few extra bucks for the quality of Sister Honey’s desserts.
