On March 14, the boys varsity lacrosse team took on the Bishop Moore Hornets winning, 5-4.
At half time, the score was 1-1.
By the end of the fourth quarter, the score was 4-3 and junior Kevin Irwin’s second goal tied the game up. With a few minutes left in the game, junior Kyle Irwin scored one last goal, with an assist from his twin, to bring the score to 5-4. The boys ran out the clock to secure their win.
The boys’ overall record is 6-1 and their district record is 4-1. Their next game is an away game against Edgewater High School on March 19.
