Winning 53-0, the flag football team beat Freedom on March 15.

Within the first few minutes of the game, junior Sabdie Alvarado and sophomore Cassandra Ketchum both scored touchdowns, quickly making the score 13-0. With senior Bailey Florin as quarterback, the girls started on the offensive with two more touchdowns by Megan Gibson and Ketchum.

Continuing their lead, Florin had an interception and passed to Ketchum for another touchdown. Junior Rene Fiorelli and freshman Amanda Oliver had two flag pulls each by the end of the second quater. Ketchum scored two more touchdowns, ending the first half 46-0.

During the second half, Ketchum stepped in as quarterback so Florin could rest her hip. Alvarado and Oliver each scored touchdowns, ending the game with a win.

The next game will be on March 19 against Jones.
