One of the changes iOS7 offers is iTunes Radio.
iTunes Radio is a free ad-supported service that is available to anyone with an Apple device. It is similar to Pandora in its basic features, but when it comes down to it, iTunes Radio is more efficient.
First of all, one has to download the Pandora app while iTunes Radio is located in the music app that comes with one’s iPhone, iPad, iPod or it is in iTunes. One is allowed multiple skips on iTunes Radio and if one happens to enjoy the song playing, the user can tap the button to buy it and it is downloaded to the user’s iTunes music library. All in all, iTunes Radio is more convenient.
Creating stations is also more efficient. iTunes Radio allows one to create a station from the iTunes Top 100 songs, Top Hip Hop songs, Top Country songs and numerous others along with creating stations based on specific songs or artists.
An iTunes Radio user is allowed six skips per hour. Pandora limits users to 12 skips per day.
Music selection is filtered through iTunes and focuses on the types of songs one actually wants to hear versus on Pandora’s more random song selection.
In comparison, Apple has taken the user’s listening experience to an all new level that other radio based applications just can’t compete with.
