On Oct. 9, the girls swim team (3-3) celebrated their senior night at home against Timber Creek.

The meet began with the 200 medley relay swam by freshmen Victoria Pratt and Grace Easterling, along with seniors Elenor Clark and Julia Hester. The girls placed second, 2:02. Pratt also stole first place in the 200 freestyle, 2:00, and 100 backstroke, 1:03. Clark also placed first in the 50 freestyle, 26.60.

Despite Timber Creek taking the lead, Clark, Hester and seniors Dakota Lewis and Amelia Cheatham swam the 200 freestyle placing second, 1:53. Pratt, Lewis, Cheatham and junior Erika Guiterrez also placed second in the 400 freestyle relay, 4:06.

The meet ended with a loss to Timber Creek, 65-105. The girls, now 3-4, will swim at the Metro Conference meet on Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. at Winter Park.
