As tensions ran high, the girls soccer team pulled out another win bringing their record to 6-3-1.

The Lady Braves defeated Freedom on Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. with a 3-2 victory. In the first quarter, freshman Jacey Reese started the game with a goal and was immediately followed by two goals from Freedom bringing the score to 1-2. The girls continued to attack as freshman Jewell Gentry-Mickelson assisted freshman Natasha Merangoli on a goal.

On a penalty kick, junior Alexandra King made the save to keep the score tied 2-2 at the half.

The game continued to be intense as junior Mackenzie Chambers, assisted by senior Rachel Bridewell, made the final goal for the night with seven minutes left. The game ended with five yellow cards between the two teams.

The Lady Braves next game is Nov. 21, at 7:30 p.m. against Edgewater at home.
