On March 4, the girls’ water polo defeated Edgewater keeping their record undefeated.

In the first quarter, the girls came out strong scoring nine goals.  Seniors Eleanor Clark scored two,  Julia Hester one, Dakota Lewis two, and juniors Mackenzie Mock one,  Catherine Harper one, Maddie Guetzloe one and Camille Rimmer made the final goal of the first quarter, ending the quarter 9-0.

The second quarter began with junior Gillian Jijon scoring a goal, follow by Mock with back-to-back goals.  Edgewater retaliated by scoring a goal, but  in return Jijon scored again.  At the end of the quarter the girls were up 13-1.

Starting the third quarter, senior Jenna Layton made a save, but then Edgewater scored another goal.  Rimmer ended the quarter with a goal making the score 14-2.

In the fourth quarter, junior Alexys Hernandez scored her first goal, then freshman Isis Miller made two saves in a row.  Edgewater scored their third goal of the night, followed by Hernandez’s second goal of the night, making the final score 16-3.

The girls will play  Dr. Phillips  at YMCA Aquatic Center on March 6 at 7 p.m.
