On Thursday, March 12, the undefeated flag football team (2-0) dominated the Edgewater Eagles, 33-0.

In the first quarter, senior Jenna Chastain had several essential flag pulls. Junior Emily Colvin also contributed to the strong defense as she made several key interceptions.

Towards the end of the first quarter, junior Emily Colvin threw a 60 yard pass to senior Emily Stearns, earning the fist touchdown of the night. Chastain then scored the extra point making the score 7-0.
In the second quarter, Colvin and Stearns made additional vital interceptions while playing defense. As soon as they took the field offensively, Colvin made yet another pass that lead to senior Megan Gibson executing the second touchdown of the game.
During third quarter, Stearns ran across the entire field, dodging several of the Eagles’ offensive players and potential flag pulls until she scored the third touchdown, making the score 20-0.
As the fourth quarter began, Colvin and Stearns teamed up, yet again, and scored another touchdown against the Eagles, 27-0. Closer to the end of the final quarter Colvin made a 30-yard throw to sophomore Jamari Ridley adding six more points to the scoreboard.
