On Thursday, Sept. 24, the Lady Braves golf team (2-3) beat Cypress Creek for their second win of the season.
Leading the team, junior Mia Edgar finished with a 52 on nine holes. Hole 2 was her best of the day, where she, and the Cypress Creek golfer in her group, shot a bogie (par 4).
Following closely behind, in the second group, junior Jewell Gentry Mickelson made a double bogey on hole 3 (par 4). She ended with a 57 on nine holes.
The two other Boone competitors, freshman Aoife Tobin and freshman Hailey Edwards, added a combined score of 131 to bring the total bringing to a 240-272 victory over Cypress Creek.
