The girls swim team crushed the Osceola Kowboys at Wadeview Pool on Sept. 30.  

The Lady Braves started the night winning first and second in the 200 medley relay.  In the second event of the meet, the 200 freestyle,  junior Grace Easterling placed first (2:06.07) leaving everyone else far behind.

In the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly the girls had a clean sweep, stealing first, second, and third place.  Junior Victoria Pratt (25:47) placed first, sophomore Chloe Conyers (28:65) placed second and sophomore Grace McGee was close behind (30:50) finishing in third.  In the 100 butterfly, Pratt (1:06.94) won first, freshman River Hastings (1:18.25) took second, and freshman Sydney Chamberlain (1:21.34) placed third.

Later in the meet, sophomore Eleanor McDonald (6:05.33) won first in the longest event of the meet, the 500 freestyle.  McDonald also placed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:22.78) leading up to the final event of the night.

Another takeover occurred in the 400 free relay, with the girls placing first, second and third yet again.  Easterling, River Hastings, junior Cardinal Hastings and sophomore Valerie Campanalie won first (4:08.68) with their teammates not far behind.

The Lady Braves will take on Winter Park at their next meet on Oct. 3 at Winter Park at 9 a.m.
