On Oct. 31, the girls cross country team competed in the regional meet at Lake Nona High School. The girls finished 12th overall, with a team average of 21:40.00.

Senior Alexandra Sublette led the team, placing 24th out of 130 runners (20:19.23). Junior Jessica Dolan followed, placing 49th (21:14.69) and junior Kiara Zambrana placed 75th (21:55.44).

Freshman Hannah Schneeberger followed the first three runners placing 87th (22:18.35) and then junior Raeanna Pabon placed 95th (22:32.28).

The girls conclude their season placing 12th out of 18 teams. Only the first four teams advance to the State Champion Meet.
