What inspired you to become a teacher? My mother is a teacher so I was always exposed to education and I always wanted to influence people.
What is the best part about your job? I get to inspire young people and I get to see growth.
What do you hope to achieve by being a teacher? To prepare students for success and life.
What were your childhood dreams? To become a singer. Probably around middle school and high school, I became really shy.
Why did you choose to teach business and technology? I’ve just always been into computers and technology and I think in today’s technologically advanced world it’s a critical skill.
How long have you been teaching? 14 years, just around Orlando. I taught at Waterford Elementary, Chain of Lakes Middle School, and Freedom Middle School.
What does your typical weekend look like? Taking my kids to different activities they are involved in and sometimes just relaxing.
What’s your biggest pet peeve? Disrespectful students.
If you could have picked another career what would it have been? Probably something in the business world. I would have my own business.
What kind of business would you have? I would have a software company.
