The girls volleyball team was victorious against University High School on Tuesday in a 3-0 match.

Junior Lillian Baker started the first set with an ace and continued to rack in the points with several more aces and kills. Sophomore Ashlynn Daley and senior Erin Carter followed after Baker with tips, aces and kills. The first set was a quick victory for the Braves. Sophomore Clara Flint made a kill ending the first set (25-14).

Moving into the second set, Baker started off with another ace. Daley, Flint and Carter racked in the points with several more kills and aces. Boone won the second set after University hit the ball out of bounds (25-11).

The third set started with a tip from senior Tatum Clark, followed by a tip from senior Julia Alves. Junior Kaitlin Michaels came into the game and got an ace puting the braves in the lead. Baker, Carter, Daley, and Clark followed with points from kills and aces. The girls won the third set (25-12).

The team will play Winter Springs High School on Oct. 10 at Winter Springs at 7 p.m.
