The Exceptional Student Education Program launched Brewing Braves earlier this year, which sells and delivers drinks for teachers in the morning.

“At the end of last year, we wanted to do a program for ESE to raise money,” ESE teacher William Holloway said.

The profits benefit the ESE students on campus by providing funds for community based trips.

It costs a dollar per drink and teachers choose from a wide variety of beverages including coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks.

“I think it gets them more comfortable finding their way around campus and talking to people they don’t know,” Holloway said.

The work study program runs every weekday from first to the third period. Currently, about 30-40 teachers are Brewing Braves customers and can sign up through a Google Form.

“I love the students, they are so excited when they come to my room. How can you not love them? Their joy brings me joy,” law magnet teacher Melissa Barker said.
