What college do you plan to attend? “University of Central Florida.”
What is your intended major? “Health Sciences on Pre-Med.”
What other colleges have accepted you? “Florida State and University of Florida.”
What clubs and sports did you participate in? “Interact, National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Lacrosse, Math Club and Mu Alpha Theta.”
What is your favorite memory from Boone? “Having fun at the Friday night games.”
What advice do you have for incoming students? “Try to experience Boone student life as much as possible and attend many events.”
What are you going to miss the most about Boone? “Most of my teachers, especially those that taught in the STEM fields, the Friday nights and game nights.”
What club or sport influenced you the most? “The club that most influenced me was NHS by seeing what helping the community does and all of the volunteer work that we do. [Volunteering] helps to motivate me to keep a higher standing in academics and having more accountability with what I do around Boone.”
What are you most excited for going into college? “New environment and more freedom with classes and being able to make more decisions for myself.”
Why did you choose to commit to the University of Central Florida? “Mostly to save money, as college is extremely expensive.”
What influenced you to choose health sciences as your major? “I’ve always been fascinated with the world of medicine and Health Academy helped expand fascination and my dream is to be a trauma surgeon.”
Who inspired you the most? “My mom and dad both have persevered through so much to better my life and my sisters.”
