Throughout December, various holiday events pop up across Orlando. Ranging in prices, multiple celebrations are available for students and their families to visit.
Dazzling Nights
Located in Leu Gardens, Dazzling Nights is a walk-through event that combines lights and nature. Attendees experience a foot maze, candle lit lanterns, LED lights and strolls through the lit up rose garden.
The event lasts until Jan. 9, 2022. Weekday tickets cost $22 and weekend tickets cost $25. Parking is $12.
A Christmas Carol
The Orlando Shakes puts on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol this Holiday season. The adaptation comes from Artistic Director Jim Helsinger. Audiences get the opportunity to watch the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future visit Ebenezer Scrooge.
Performances continue until Dec. 24. Ticket prices range from $32 to $56. Guests that arrive early have access to a hot chocolate bar and photo opportunities.
Night of a Million Lights
Hosted by Give Kids the World Village, Night of a Million Lights returns for their second year. The event features lights, music, holiday treats and tram rides.
Give Kids the World Village is a non-profit resort that gives critically ill children vacations for free. The Night of a Million Lights event goes until Jan. 2, 2022. Ticket prices range from $15 to $25.
Christmas at Gaylord Palms
Gaylord Palms puts on their annual Christmas event, themed after the movie Elf this year. Attendees can see sets decorated like the movie, go snow tubing and see a Cirque show.
Single day tickets to see the Elf sets range in price from $16.99 to $29.99. Additional experiences cost more. However, bundles and multiple day passes include discounts. The event runs until Jan. 2, 2022.
Milk Mart Holiday Market
The Annual Milk Mart Holiday Market features more than 80 vendors and food trucks. Taking place on the last Sunday before Christmas, attendees can finish their last minute shopping.
The event is on Dec. 19 from noon to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild
Located at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Garden, the Asian Lantern Festival contains multiple lantern displays along a ¾ mile path. The event will also have food and drinks available for purchase.
The event lasts until Jan. 16, 2022. Tickets range in price from $18.50 to $20.
