Senior libero/defensive specialist Jesse Collins signed a college scholarship Monday, Dec. 13. Collins was a four year starter for the Lady Braves and played elite club volleyball for six years. Playing for Champions Volleyball and Top Select Volleyball Academy, Collins competed in national open tournaments in Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Miami, Baltimore and Puerto Rico.

Along with Boone teammates Kristin Faust (who committed to Clemson) and Rachael Mason their 15u Champions Volleyball Club team defeated Laguna Beach, CA, becoming the first Central Florida club team to claim a national championship.

In her senior year at Boone, Collins help lead the Lady Braves to their first district championship since 2003 and their first ever regional championship sending them to their first ever state final four.

Lake Sumter is providing Collins with a full ride. After completing her junior college career Collins hopes to play at the University of Florida.
