In the first district game of the season, the Braves were defeated by the defending state champions, the Lake Highland Preparatory School Highlanders.

The Braves were out three starters due to injuries at the beginning of the game and lost their starting Midfield, Paul Chong, during the first quarter. Senior Trey Muniz, midfield, scored the first goal of the night. Sophomore Kyle Irwin, midfield, also scored in the first half.

At halftime the Braves were down eight points with a score of 2-10. In the second half, attack John Kissick, senior, scored two goals; attack Charles Collins, senior, scored one goal, Muniz scored again and Irwin added two more goals for the team. They ended the game 8-18, resulting in the first loss of the season. The Braves record is now 4-1.
