For the food lover looking for a new kind of experience, Habibi’s is the place to try.
From the brick layout to the TV screens at every table, this Lebanese restarant combines old with modern design.
Ordering is easy and the food is prepared quickly. The employees and the chefs are polite and easily conversational.
For the main part of the meal there are big stand up rotisseries, called Shawarma, that hold either beef or chicken. The Beef Shawarma platter ($10.29) is sliced off the rotisserie and heated on a stove so it is extra hot. It is served with hummus, Tabouli and a side salad or rice. The Tabouli is a Lebanese salad made with parsley, onions, and tomatoes that is lathered in lemon and olive oil a tastey way to start off the meal.
To further indulge if one would rather have the beef or chicken in bread, one can order the Beef Shawarma sandwich ($6.89) or Chicken Shawarma sandwich ($5.49). The bread is set on the stove for hot toasted edges.
The food is a great price especially for the amount they put on ones plate. Unless your stomach can hold three servings of food in one sitting, there will most likely be leftovers.
For vegetarians, the stuffed grape leaves are amazing. Rice wrapped in grape leaves that are soaked in lemon juice with a variety of spices. Four grape leaves ($3.50) or 8 grape leaves ($6.50).
For a unique and new taste Habibi’s is a great restaurant. This is a restaurant with good prices, making it a perfect place fore a date night, family dinner or an evening with friends. 4 out of 5 stars.
