Pressure builds as the undefeated varsity flag football team continue to succeed. Anticipation was high on April 12, as the team played undefeated Timber Creek, 9-0.

Within four minutes of the first quarter, junior quarterback Bailey Florin scored the first touchdown.

Senior Brandi Recker scored a touchdown in the second quarter and senior Kyndal Skersick scored two, one in the second and one in the third. Both touchdowns were passes from Florin and throughout the game, seniors Taylor Gies and Elizabeth McEwan blocked the defense from reaching Florin, allowing her to throw passes freely.

There were no touchdowns scored in the fourth quarter. With only two minutes left in the game, Skersick had an interception and continued to keep Timber Creek from scoring.

Keeping their undefeated streak and leaving Timber Creek with their first loss, the team ended the game with a score of 25-0, making their record 10-0. The team will play away tonight against Wekiva at 7 p.m.
