On Oct. 9, at Colonial Lanes, the girls and boys bowling team faced Edgewater in their tenth match of the season. Both teams lost, but key players had strong plays during the match.

On the girl’s team, junior Elizabeth Barahona was the first one up and bowled a 7. Barahona later scored a strike during the second game bringing her score to 31 by the fourth frame. During the second game, senior Mercedes Theodore bowled a spare on her eighth frame and a strike on her ninth frame. Her score was 103 before the last frame of the second game.

For the boy’s team, senior Matt Kaiser bowled two strikes in a row early on in the first game. During the second game, senior Christopher Roland bowled a spare on his last frame. His score was 128 for the second game.

The final scores were 1687-2208 for the girls and 2184-2438 for the boys.

The next bowling match will be held at Colonial Lanes on Oct.10 at 2:45 p.m.
